One of UG's major goals in research is to foster innovation that propels sustainable socio-economic development and progress.
We aim to meet challenges, especially in the areas of globalization and sustainable energies. Our research areas include environmental sciences, renewable energies, the human mind and the structure of matter.
Through our strategic research areas, we seek to focus on our research profile and conduct research with an internationalized multi-disciplinary approach to move beyond the normal boundaries of knowledge and understanding, and to develop an integrated approach to answer scientific and social questions.
With 4 research centers and over 70 laboratories (with the anthropology lab being the latest one to become fully active), University of Guilan puts research above all else, to ensure a better future for us and for the future generations.
