The chancellor of the University of Guilan, sending letters to the Secretary General of the United Nations and the presidents of some universities in the world, condemned the violation of human rights and attacks on civilians by the Zionist regime and emphasized the need to accelerate humanitarian aid to the defenseless people of Palestine. In these letters, Dr. Farid Najafi emphasized the pursuit of the following issues:

- The immediate stop of killing the defenseless people of Gaza, ending the cycle of violence, and protecting the lives of Palestinians

- The immediate opening of sea and land corridors to enable the unhindered delivery of medical aid, food, and other vital facilities to the people of Gaza

- Lifting the blockade of water, electricity, and fuel to restore normal daily life for Palestinian citizens.
