During the 27th General Assembly of the Association of State Universities of the Caspian Sea Region Countries, hosted by Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov, Dr. Siyasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, presented Dr. Ali Basti, Chancellor of the University of Guilan, with a certificate of appreciation. The award recognized his outstanding services, ongoing efforts, and active role in advancing the scientific objectives of the Association across the region.

In the certificate, the Kazakh Minister emphasized the strategic importance of the University of Guilan as the head of the Iranian Secretariat of the Association of State Universities of the Caspian Sea Region Countries. He also expressed his gratitude for the University’s professional and effective performance in creating sustainable platforms for scientific, cultural, and research cooperation among the member universities.​​​​​​​
