A memorandum of understanding was concluded between the University of Guilan and Belgrade University of Serbia to develop scientific relations and consider the importance of educational, research, and technological cooperation between universities and research centers for the active participation of professors and researchers in science and technology. In the framework of this memorandum, the two institutions committed to using their efforts for scientific and educational cooperation between academic staff members, faculties, and educational groups to carry out activities in common fields.

conducting short-term and long-term trips for faculty members and students; holding meetings, workshops, and joint scientific conferences; The possibility of study opportunities, creating opportunities for students of different educational levels to participate in exchange programs; Creating joint educational programs to obtain joint degree (double degree); Conducting joint research projects between academic staff members and researchers of two universities, etc. are among the most important provisions of this memorandum.
